Our Journey
From a personal quest for a single Vivekananda sculpture to a living atelier of Indian heritage collectibles — the story behind MiniCreature.
A search that became a sanctuary
MiniCreature began in 2014, sparked by founders Asha and her husband's search for a high-quality sculpture of Swami Vivekananda. Nothing they found met the standard they held for Indian heritage craft.
That gap became a calling. Asha, then an HR professional in IT, left her role after her first child and, with her husband's guidance, set out to design and develop meticulously detailed, hand-painted sculptures rooted in Indian culture and history.

Building an Indian atelier
In 2013 the groundwork was laid — research, a clear business model, and a commitment to Indian-based antiques and miniature heritage. The Vivekananda sculpture was the first public expression of that vision.
Early batches taught hard lessons. By 2014 MiniCreature had established an Indian team, trained from those first projects, and dedicated to producing indigenous work at a collector's standard — not a souvenir's compromise.

A decade of craft
Groundwork
A detailed market study shaped the business model. The founders sought museum-worthy Indian heritage sculpture that simply did not exist at the quality they demanded.
MiniCreature launches
The first piece — Swami Vivekananda — marked the brand’s public beginning. Early production lessons led to building a fully Indian artisan team aligned with the MiniCreature vision.
Indigenous mastery
A skilled Indian atelier replaced earlier overseas trials. Over one hundred hand-painted, made-in-India collectibles now meet global quality and packaging standards.
